The Lexicon Easter Charity Drive 

Runs until Sunday 14th April from 10am-5pm. 

The Lexicon Express will be running mini tours of the town centre. For a donation of £1, passengers can board the train on The Avenue between 10am and 5pm.  The Lexicon Bracknell, The Avenue Car Park, Bracknell, RG12 1AP.

Basildon Park Easter Egg Hunt

Runs until Sunday 14th April  from 10am – 5pm.

Newbury Spring Trail

Runs until Saturday 14th April (FREE – Maps £1). 

Wonderful local people have volunteered to create a Spring display in their front garden/window to form a trail around the area of Valley Road, Elizabeth Avenue, and the surrounding streets.  Those completing the trail can work out the hidden message on the map. There will be a few prizes up for grabs when the holidays are over and we draw the winners.  Newbury, RG14 1BA.

Easter Eggstravaganza – Wellington Country Park

Runs until Sunday 7th April from 9:30am-4:30pm.  

Spring has sprung, and so has the biggest Easter extravaganza yet! It’s time for the greatest show on earth to roll into town and get cracking! The circus is in full swing and it’s ready to thrill and dazzle you like never before!  Perfect for little ones up to the age of 8 years old.  Wellington Country Park, Odiham Road, Riseley, RG7 1SP.

Runs until Wednesday 3rd April from 10am-3pm.

Newbury Easter Egg Hunt Trail

Runs until Sunday 14th April  at 10am.  (FREE EVENT).  Giant Easter eggs will be dotted around town, and families can write down the name of the animal they see on each egg.  Finding all the eggs will enter families into a prize draw for a range of prizes.  Newbury Town centre, RG14 1BA.

Tumblestone Hollow Easter Trail

Runs until Sunday 14th April.

Solve the clues in the Easter trail, explore the Adventure Playground, discover the nature walk, listen to the stories based on Tumblestone Hollow, make Easter crowns and garlands and refuel at the Rumble Hut.  Entrance is £9.50 (adult), £10.50 (child) on discounted advance booking | Free for all members.  Tumblestone Hollow at Stonor Park, RG9 6HF.

Reading Easter Trail

Runs until Sunday 14th April (FREE Event).

Find hidden eggs around Reading town centre.  Keep little ones entertained as they explore the town centre, using the handy trail map to hunt for 12 eggs hidden in shop windows.  Pick up your free trail map from the Oracle Customer Service Desk or download.  Reading Town Centre.

Binfield Easter Egg Hunt

Runs until Friday 5th April.

Boxford Easter Escape Trail

Monday 1st April at 11am. 

Join us in beautiful Boxford for outdoor cryptic fun for the whole family. Think Escape Room but outside amongst nature, mud, trees, animals and weather! You will need to work together finish six challenges, cracking codes to unlock five gates and release the key to a treasure chest full of Easter Eggs.  £12.50 per family. Southfields, Boxford.

Cobbs Play Barn Create & Play: Easter Treat Boxes

Monday 1st April 10am-12pm. 

Children will colour in a delightful Easter design before assembling the cardboard boxes and fixing a handle to carry home. We also have a little Easter treat to pop inside them! Once the craft is complete, children will be served a lunch box and drink that they can enjoy before letting off some steam in our Play Barn.  £15 per child. Shaw House Family Fun Day

Wednesday 3rd April from 10am-3pm.

Lambing at Roves Farm

This is our second lambing of 2024 when our main flock of Continental ewes will come into the lambing barn to give birth. Spend some time on our viewing walkway looking out over the barn as the day’s action unfolds. You may be lucky enough to see a lamb or two being born! Reading Half Marathon

Sunday 14th April. 

The Reading Half Marathon not only takes in the highlights of the centre of Reading where you will experience huge crowd support but also still passes through the beautiful grounds of the University campus. The race culminates in a finish rarely found outside an Olympic stadium with over 15,000 people cheering you into the stadium and over the finish line.  Enter HERE.

Aldermaston Mini Spring Fayre

Go along to Aldermaston Parish Halls first Mini Spring Fayre!  Entrance is free and there will be a complimentary glass of bucks fizz on arrival.  There will be a bake sale with lots of delicious cakes and treats, a raffle, a bouncy castle, a sweet cart and much more.
