Do you have a baby, toddler or older child?  Are you looking for an activity class to take them to?  Here in Berkshire we are very lucky to have lots of baby, toddler and pre-school activity classes to choose from which often welcome older siblings to come along too!

These groups are great for meeting other parents and bonding with your little ones, they can also help in other ways such as building your child’s confidence, communication and social skills.

Please note that many of these classes will require you to pre-book.

Hartbeeps Newbury & Thatcham

 

These magical music & sensory classes for babies, pre-schoolers and toddlers take place on Mondays and Thursdays in Thatcham, and on Wednesday in Newbury.

The Monday sessions can be found at the Old Bluecoat School, RG14 4QN:

Not strictly a baby & toddler activity class, these fitness sessions are run by the fabulous Fiona and are a great way to get fit whilst socialising and meeting other parents and bringing your little one along!

Fitter Mother provides child-friendly fitness classes, online training programmes, and personal training for all stages of motherhood.

Buggyfit is a fun, safe and effective workout combining cardio, strength, resistance and core training.  Suitable from 6 weeks postnatal onwards and for all fitness levels. Classes take place in Thatcham and Newbury.

West Berkshire’s libraries run several activities for under 5’s, including Rhyme Times, Duplo sessions, Chess clubs, Craft activities and Storytime sessions.

Music with Mummy is a structured programme of weekly classes for pre-school children.  Its main aim is to teach basic aspects of music to young children, while having fun.

WIKIDS

WIKIDS (Workouts Inspiring Kids) inspires children to exercise, get fit and have fun whatever their age or ability.

Glow Tots Sensory

 

Glow Tots is a sensory class for little ones from birth to around 2.5 years old.

A free flow, child led session where children play and explore using a range of educational sensory equipment and toys including sounds, bubbles, textures and lights. Sessions take place in Burghfield, Thatcham, Upper Basildon, Tilehurst and Calcot.

Tots Act: Newbury Corn Exchange

 

Bring along your little one to have fun and gain confidence through dance, music, crafts, and imaginative play.

Rhyme & Shine
