I recently attended a lovely Boogie Mites class with Lizzie at the Waterside Centre.

Lizzie creates welcoming, joyful music sessions where both children and parents instantly feel at ease. With smiles all the way through, she brings a warm, positive energy that clearly keeps children coming back. It’s obvious how much the regular attendees enjoy her classes!

I loved the use of junk percussion and the encouragement to continue making music at home using recycled materials - great for creativity and brilliant for the environment with a strong re-use message. The sessions are well paced, engaging, and supported by a wide range of resources. Lizzie explains why she chooses particular songs and clearly outlines the benefits they bring to the children, which I really appreciated as a parent.

Lizzie’s Tuesday Boogie Mites class is held at the beautiful Waterside Centre, a bright and welcoming space that adds to the overall experience.

Lizzie runs classes on Tuesdays at 10am, 11am, and 11.45am (Baby class), and every second Friday, she leads Nature Sound Seekers at the Nature Discovery Centre - another fantastic setting - at 10am and 11am (Baby class). These are excellent pre-school music classes!

If you are looking for a fun new music class to attend with a baby or a toddler, we highly recommend attending Lizzies classes. Block bookings are available or PAYG.
