Visit Cobbs Farm Shop in Hungerford
Situated on the A4 just past Hungerford, Cobbs Farm Shop has lots on offer and is a great day out for all the family.
There is a focus on local and British produce at Cobbs and this can clearly be seen when visiting the shop. Cobbs has its own in-house butchery and you can purchase a wide selection of local meats from the shop’s meat counter, much of the meat is sourced from farms in Berkshire and Hampshire with full traceability – just ask one of the butchers to find out where your meat is from!
In the farm shop you will find a delicatessen, a variety of homemade cakes, breads, dairy and treats along with fresh seasonal produce. Sarah Styles, their in-house florist, also runs a fantastic gift room in the farm shop, filled with unique and original gift ideas.
Cobbs offers a whole host of seasonal events to join in with throughout the year. From their fantastic open air cinema evenings in the summer to family fun orientated events hosted in their Play Barn. Check out their events page online.
Cobbs has a licensed cafe onsite, accessed via the Farm Shop, which has a good sized outdoor terrace that is covered, catering for all seasons. They have a large garden also a sandpit for children to play in. As you would expect, the emphasis is on locally sourced and homemade food with seasonal specials. Breakfast is available from 9am-11.30am with prices starting at £6; lunchtime mains start at £10 or you could choose a lighter brunch option. There is a children’s menu with prices starting at £4.50 and delicious roast lunches are available on Sundays. Highchairs are available and the toilets are situated at the rear of the Farm Shop; there is an accessible toilet with baby changing facilities.
