From beginning to end, this local production of Shrek The Musical was a joy to watch. Packed with fantastic music, laugh-out-loud moments, and plenty of jokes that both children and adults will appreciate, it’s a brilliant show that truly delivers for the whole family.

The production strikes a wonderful balance between comedy and heartfelt storytelling, with uplifting songs and touching scenes that remind us why this tale is so loved. The musical numbers were performed with great energy and confidence, the clever lyrics landed perfectly, and the vibrant costumes - alongside the lively ensemble performances - added even more sparkle to an already joyful show.

The show was brought to the stage by Looking Glass Theatre - a community theatre company committed to delivering creative, welcoming, and professionally produced performances. The cast delivered brilliant performances, combining strong acting with heartfelt, powerful singing and infectious energy.
