City Arts Newbury
City Arts has so many fun activities planned this Easter:
Easter Trail: Maps will go on sale on the 4th of April from City Arts, come along and join the fun!
Childrens Glass Fusing Workshop – Thursday 10 April – 10:30am to 11:30am. £22
Easterambles with Arty Pumpkin – Wednesday 16 April 11am to 1pm , £15. 5-11 year olds.
Children’s Easter Safe Carve Print Thursday 17 April -10 to 11:30 am – £12 – All Ages
Childrens Easter Linoprint –Thursday 17 April–12 to 2pm – £16 8 plus.
Basildon Park
Easter Adventures at Basildon Park. Saturday 5th-27th April. 10am-5pm. £3.50 per trail (plus entrance fee)
Check out the miniature mansion and run from pillar to post. Choose colours from the colour wheel and puzzle the mansion floor plan back in order. Make your way along the trail and find activities for the whole family. The Trail includes an Easter trail sheet, bunny ears and dairy or vegan and Free From chocolate eggs.
Victoria Park – Easter Sports in the Park
This is a free event in Victoria Park for ages 11 plus. See below for times and dates
Cobbs Play Barn
7th, 11th, 14th, 18th, April 10am-12pm. Children £15.99. Adults £4.99
Hop on over for some Easter fun at cobbs play barn!
Kids can get creative making their own Easter Bunny masks using paper plates, pipe cleaners, pom-poms, and paint, then set off on a mini-Easter egg hunt around the outdoor sandpit!

Explore the house to find the hidden mouse!
Begin by creating a mouse headband in the Hall, with additional themed crafts available in the Activity Room, then enjoy following the trail around the House.

Family Activity Day – Bouncing Bunnies
16th April 10am-3pm- £2.50 Aimed at 7-11 year olds (but all ages welcome)
Bounce into Easter with this fun ceramic bunny craft. Decorate the ceramic hanging decoration with porcelain pens and then take home to display.

Love Local Artisan Fair
13th April 11am-3pm – £2
Join Shaw House to celebrate all things local and explore unique crafts across over 70 stalls throughout the House and outside. From homeware, garden goods and clothing to jewellery, food and drink; there will be plenty for everyone!
For our younger visitors there will be themed craft and colouring in the Activity Room and trail sheets to explore the house with.

Join Woolly the sheep on a vibrant, rainbow-filled journey as he nibbles his way through the week, munching on clothes of every color from the farmer’s washing line. This delightful and educational tale is perfect for young children, teaching them the days of the week, clothing items, and the colours of the rainbow, all through puppets, songs, and playful, imaginative repetition.

Egg Tastic Easter Trail
£6.77 Wednesday 16th and Thursday 17th April
Rabbit has heard all about Easter from his friends but he’s a little confused about Easter eggs; where do they come from and what do they look like? He needs some help looking for different types of eggs so that he can understand all about them.
Collect your trail sheet from the visitor centre and head around the nature reserve to discover who laid the eggs. Then, head back to the centre to complete the craft and claim your small chocolate prize.
The Discovery Centre also has Nature Tots Sessions on during the Easter Break which are always great fun.
Highclere Castle
Easter Egg Trail
Explore the Highclere Castle Easter Trail, set through the gardens and woodland. At the end of the Trail, each child will win a chocolate Easter Egg! There will also be an Easter bonnet parade, bouncy slide (weather dependent) and some farm animals to meet.

Follow the clues, reveal the answer then claim your prize! Trail entry £3 per child, chocolate egg for each participant. There will be prizes, games and refreshments too so come along and support your local preschool!
