Craft & Crumb: Innovative Baking Kits For Children To Launch into Ocado
Due to the overwhelming demand for child-friendly baking kits in lockdown, Craft & Crumb has launched into Ocado – the company’s first supermarket stockist – and John Lewis.
On a mission to make baking accessible and fun, no matter the age, Craft & Crumb create easy-to-follow cake, cooking and brownie mixes, delivered to doorsteps across the UK. Following a surge in home activities last year, Craft & Crumb quickly became a go-to for parents, offering a selection of themed kits, now available to purchase on Ocado.
The Craft & Crumb team has designed several new offerings for the nationwide retailer, including the range of everyday Bake & Craft Kits (£5.99) featuring a themed kit (Cool Cats, Dinosaurs and Pizza), each including a baking and craft activity. Exclusively for Ocado, the Ocado Van Baking Kit (£11.99) allows children to decorate their own Ocado van biscuits, and craft one too. And finally, the Little Artisan Baking Kit (£19.99), perfect for youngsters who want to get creative in the kitchen.
In John Lewis, customers can purchase a range of Bake and Craft Kits (£19.99), available in a range of fun themes – Dinosaur, Pizza, Dollies and Little Artisans.
An excellent way of keeping youngsters entertained (and minimising screen time), Craft &Crumb’s mixes allow children to unleash their inner baker thanks to a variety of innovative kits that are convenient, user-friendly, but most of all, taste delicious.
Helping inspire the next generation of star bakers, Craft & Crumb’s kits are perfect for after-school fun, summer holidays or even kids birthday parties, getting children interested in baking in a fun and informative way.
Craft & Crumb are on a mission to be as sustainable as possible too. Almost everything in their kit is re-usable, recyclable and any plastic is kept to a minimum. All their latest kits can re-used to create a themed craft as well.
After starting in a humble kitchen in 2016, Craft & Crumb have come a long way since its inception, and after a year of whirlwind success with lockdown innovation, its move into Ocado and John Lewis is another huge moment for the brand.
