Bucklebury Toddlers is a group for parents & carers of children aged 0-5 that runs on Friday mornings during term time from 10am-12pm. The group is located at Bucklebury Memorial Hall on Broad Lane in Upper Bucklebury; the hall has a decent sized car park if you’re driving. The group is run by a committee and we were given a warm welcome by Michelle and Charlotte. The hall has a nice sized indoor space and a lovely garden area outside. When we visited there were several activities to choose from inside including painting, puzzles, trains, dressing up and toy cars. Outdoors there were ride on toys, cars, scooters and even some dinosaur eggs that needed some help with hatching! Our little one had a great time ‘cracking’ the eggs, building a train track and dressing up as Cinderella. After playing everyone tidies up and then has a drink and a snack, each session ends with a sing song. It’s a lovely group well worth a visit. It’s £2 for an adult and one child to attend Bucklebury Toddlers or £3.50 for an adult and 2+ children, £1 for a child under 6 months. Tea and coffee is provided. For more information you can visit the Facebook group or email buckleburytoddlers@gmail.com.
